Dr. Phillip Wessel was born and raised in Cambridge, Ontario where he was active in sports and began an interest in human movement. Dr. Phil was very interested in sports during his high school years.
After high school, Dr. Phil attended the University of Guelph where he continued his interest in human movement where he studied Human Kinetics. During his matriculation at Guelph, Dr. Phil was a member of the Men's Volleyball team at a very competitive level.
After graduating University, Dr. Phil attended the New York Chiropractic College and graduated in 2018. During his internship, Dr. Phil worked at the Buffalo Veterans Hospital, an experience that was both educational and emotional.
Upon graduation from Chiropractic College in 2018, he has returned to southwestern Ontario to practice at the Oakville Chiropractic Centre.
Dr. Phil is currently attending patients at the Oakville Chiropractic Centre and is trained in a variety of techniques including; manual adjusting, instrument assisted adjusting, myofascial release therapy and active exercise rehabilitation.
Dr. Phil also has additional certifications in fitting custom orthotics. Dr. Phil is committed to a life of learning and bettering himself, so he can always provide the best care to all his patients.
As a chiropractor, Dr. Phil treats conditions relating to the musculoskeletal and nervous system with the goals of restoring range of movement and maintaining optimal joint and improving overall function. He looks at each patient as an individual and provides the treatment plan that best suits their needs.
When Dr. Phil is not in the office he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, and activities including hiking, exercising, and playing volleyball and basketball.
