Vanessa Pontet
has been a registered Chiropodist for 6 1/2 years and serving the
communities of Oakville and Mississauga during that time. She has worked
both in hospital and private practice settings.
Vanessa studied at the University of Toronto for 4 years and received an
Honours Bachelor of Science Degree. She then studied for 3 1/2 years at the
Michener Institute and received a Diploma of Chiropody.
Frequently, Vanessa lectures on
Diabetes education regarding footcare and
preventative treatment care. She performs nail surgery and takes a
particular interest in paediatrics and diabetic wound
management.
In addition, Vanessa has a great interest in sports management especially
regarding orthotic treatment for runners,
dancers, hockey players etc.
