Magic and miracles are everywhere. Whether or not you find magic or see miracles depends on how you perceive your life and your
experiences. Are you waiting for a lightning bolt experience or can you see magic and miracles all around you? See them in the smile of a stranger, the grace of a dancer, the power of an adjustment and in the beauty of life.

A parent was told that her 11 month old could not be helped. He has never crawled normally. Many neurologists and other specialists later he is only crawling on his hands and one leg, dragging the other now atrophied leg along. They couldn’t find anything, “they said hopefully he would outgrow it, sorry, there was nothing they could do”.

Another practice member referred her, after one adjustment he was able to crawl on all fours. Today you can’t keep up with him.

In Volume C C I I Chapter 11 “The Inner Power Speaks” Dr. BJ Palmer wrote, what I believe is the essence of the magic and miracle of chiropractic. I teach this at every opportunity, and have created a slide of the whole text that I utilize in my weekly workshops. Here is part of it.

“We chiropractors work with the subtle substance of the soul. We
 release the imprisoned impulse, the tiny rivulet of force that
emanates from the mind and flows over the nerves, to the cells and stirs them into life. We deal with magic power that transforms
common food into living, loving, thinking clay that robes the earth with beauty and hues and scents the flowers, with the glory of the air.”

And it ends with; “And yet you ask can Chiropractic cure
appendicitis or the flu? Have you more faith in a knife or a spoonful of medicine than in the innate power that animates the internal living world?”

Dr BJ Palmer was the developer of chiropractic as well as a great
philosopher and authored several books p until his death in the 1960s. While we do not expect everyone to take every literal comment uttered in the first half of the past century there is a common sense to many things. You see truths do not change...they remain eternal.
