

Jason Paquette

Jason graduated from Sheridan Institute of Technology in 2002 for the Sports Injury Management program. As a Certified Athletic Therapist (c) he has been part of the Alliance Healthcare Professionals team since 2003.
An Athletic Therapist is a healthcare professional that performs assessments and personalized rehabilitation programs for individuals who have suffered acute or chronic injuries. Jason specializes in treating motor vehicle accident, WSIB, athletic, and chronic on going injuries. In addition his expertise extends to sport specific training, testing and treating.
Jason completed his kinesiology honors degree from the University of Ottawa in 1999 with a specialization in exercise physiology, prescription, and rehabilitation.
During his four years he worked closely with the varsity hockey, football, and soccer programs as a student therapist.
His passion for education has lead Jason to teach at ICT Kikkawa Massage Therapy School. During his stay there he helped the students of today become the professionals of tomorrow by teaching anatomy, physiology, and pathology. Also he continues his professional development by taking continuing education courses such as muscle energy techniques, myofascial release techniques and functional ability training.
Furthermore Jason is active in the community Minor Oaks Hockey Association as a Head Coach. Jason has been coaching for a local minor hockey since 2002.
Recent team experiences encompass the following teams: Oakville Crusaders Rugby Club, Humber College and University of Ottawa Hockey, Men’s National Olympic and University basketball and professional lacrosse training camps.
