Dr. Monica Cortes

Dr Monica Cortes received her Doctor of Medicine from The Central University of Venezuela, Faculty of Medicine, and accomplished Ophthalmology Residency at Domingo Luciani Hospital in Caracas, Venezuela.

She is a licensed optometrist in Ontario, who earned her degree from the University of Waterloo in 2011, after she has completed the IOBP Program.

She is a member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists, Canadian Association of Optometrists, Venezuelian Association of Ophthalmologists and College of Physicians of Venezuela . With over 10 years of professional experience in the Ophthalmic field, she is trained in the use of therapeutic pharmaceutical agents and ocular pathology.
