Pregnancy

The body is continuously preparing itself for delivery during the span of pregnancy. The pelvic joints and ligaments relax and become capable of extensive movement and causes the pelvis to be more susceptible to the strain of a large weight gain in a short amount of time.


The pelvis is the foundation for the spine and this helps pregnant women to respond well to chiropractic care. Pregnant women need to visit their chiropractor regularly, throughout and following pregnancy to ensure good health for the baby and themselves. Exercise, good nutrition and spinal adjustments can make pregnancy the pleasant, exciting experience you want it to be. As your pregnancy advances chiropractic techniques may be modified. You chiropractor is aware of this and will make any changes necessary.
