Adjustments are also referred to as Chiropractic treatments.  They are specific and skillful movements done by the Doctor of Chiropractic to reposition misaligned vertebrae that may be impinging a nerve or causing nerve interference. Most are not painful.

They help prevent pain and give the body a good feeling. There are different opinions as to what causes the sound of an adjustment, but it is not accompanied by pain.
